What it's like to live with
When you're deciding from far away, or comparing two quotes, it's hard to know what you're actually agreeing to. Most quotes are a number and a list.
The question that mattered
Where could implants go in the upper jaw, and how many were really needed?
What we looked at
A 3D scan of the whole jaw, from every side, and a panoramic X-ray.

What we decided, and why
The plan was first sketched on the X-ray: implants in red, the new teeth in green. Then each implant was placed on the 3D scan, three on each side of the upper jaw.

What we did
The implants went in. The X-ray after surgery matches the plan.
What you see now
Implants in the bone, where the plan put them. The fixed teeth are the next stage.
What this means for you
Before you agree to implants anywhere, ask to see your plan on your own scan. Any good clinic will show you.
Every mouth is different. Your plan depends on your own scan.
These photos were taken during surgery. Some show blood.
Questions people ask
What should an implant plan show?
Where each implant goes, its size, and where the new teeth sit, on your own scan.
Can I get a second opinion on a plan from another clinic?
Yes. Bring it, and we'll explain it.
Why a 3D scan and not just an X-ray?
A normal X-ray is flat. The 3D scan shows how wide and deep the bone is.
