Started With One Chair in Vizag. Now Two Cities. Same Principles.

Dr. Rajesh Kumar Y founded Smile Dental in Visakhapatnam in March 1997.

For the next 27 years, the Vizag clinic grew entirely on referrals.

No advertising. No marketing campaigns. Just patients who trusted us enough to send their parents, children, neighbours, and colleagues.

That kind of reputation isn't something you can buy — it's earned over thousands of conversations where we told people the truth about their teeth.

In 2024, we opened our Kondapur clinic in Hyderabad to serve patients in HITEC City, Gachibowli, and Madhapur.

Dr. Varsha leads the Kondapur location with the same philosophy: explain everything, price it clearly, and let the patient decide.

Founded in Visakhapatnam

Dr. Rajesh Kumar Y opened the first Smile Dental clinic. Built entirely on referrals from day one — no advertising for the first 27 years. The practice grew because patients trusted the care enough to send their families.

Dr. Rajesh doesn't just straighten teeth. As a facial orthopedist, he works at the intersection of teeth, jaw, and facial structure — understanding how they develop together. It's a specialization that fewer than a handful of practitioners in India hold.

His training spans three continents: orthodontics in India, implantology in Germany, and advanced studies at Charles University in Prague. 29 years of building a referral-only practice taught him that patients who understand their treatment stick with it, maintain their results, and send their families.
